Bgotura,
Just a thought but a while back I bought a newer Pi camera and a good lens. Part of the kit included a little adaptor that allowed the lens position to be moved further from the image sensor. Years back I bought the equivalent for my Pentax camera for macro (extreme close up) photography.
This adaptor, when in place reduces the minimum focus length so that items close to the camera can be brought into focus. Removing the adaptor allows the normal focus range from a few feet out to infinity, the cost being items very close cannot be focused.
Does your new camera/lens combo include an extra little spacer/adaptor? When I first saw my new kit I did not immediately realise the adaptor was in place as it was the same size and colour and blended into the camera lens mount.
Thanks both for the responses! I didn´t realize that the C-CS-mount adapter is only the spacer part and not the outer ring. Now it all makes sense... The backfocus screw now makes sense as a way to fix or loosen the backfocus adjustment ring for focus adjustment...
I thought I needed the spacer because when I removed it, I was also taking out the backfocus adjustment ring and so the camera thread wouldn´t fit....
Image may be NSFW.
