That's what I do. Why would go to the effort of writing software to do it; even were it possible; when a physical switch works quite fine. Image may be NSFW.switching it's supply fully off will save more energy than switching off an LED.That's what I probably will have to. A software solution would have just been a lot easier and even save energy and often money.
