thank you very much for the answer, I appreciate it.

I don't know what a dtb file is so I don't know if a simple copy is just enough even on Ubuntu. :)
but does that file contains all the Pi5 firmware? O_o

is it that easy to update the firmware on Pi? Wow.

it works like a charm now
this are my new settings:

Code:

dtparam=fan_temp0=65000dtparam=fan_temp0_hyst=8000dtparam=fan_temp0_speed=75dtparam=fan_temp1=70000dtparam=fan_temp1_hyst=8000dtparam=fan_temp1_speed=128dtparam=fan_temp2=75000dtparam=fan_temp2_hyst=8000dtparam=fan_temp2_speed=192dtparam=fan_temp3=80000dtparam=fan_temp3_hyst=8000dtparam=fan_temp3_speed=255
it works but the hysteresis does not work.
fan start spinning at 65°C and it stops as soon as it reaches 64°C,
it increments its speed as soon as it reaches 70°C, it's not that way that hysteresis should work, doesn't it?
think about your hysteresis values .... How do you think that can work
