USB2 is largely hopeless for 4k uncompressed (most webcams produce YUYV). Even 1080p30 as YUYV (16bpp) is nearly 1Gbit/s, whilst USB2 is limited at 480Mbit/s before overheads. 4k30 becomes nearly 4Gbit/s.
Yes you can use MJPEG over UVC, but that requires a significant bitrate for the higher resolutions, and becomes a moderately significant overhead in processing at both ends, and that translates to latency.
The HQ camera can produce only 4k at 10fps. Is that sufficient for your webcam?
