Before trying that, it would be best to get some diagnostics. Remove the microSD card and USB device if you are booting from USB and power on the Raspberry Pi 4b with the HDMI attached. You should see a screen as shown in the documentation.add the screens resolution to the front of /boot/cmdline.txt (/boot/firmware/cmdline.txt from inside raspberry)example from mineCode:

The line "display: " is the important one. Report back what it says.
Does it still work with Home Assistant and RISC OS? What are the other three different operating systems you have tried?The odd thing is that it works perfectly with RISC OS or with Home Assistant but as soon as I try and boot with any version of the Pi operating system I get the HDMI failure. I have tried at least three different operating systems, they all give the same result.
What am I missing?
If nothing shows up it could be a problem with the HDMI cable.
