the original 16GB USB thumb drive was created by RPI Imager. It show about 40MB / sHow is formatted? Fat? Ext4?
remove the USB and plug into another RPi5 with running NVMe SSD. Plug in a new 256GB USB thumb drive rated at 400MV /s
use sd card copy to transfer from 32GB usb thumb drive to 256GB thumb drive
plug the 256GB thumb drive to the original RPI5 and speed is 40 MB /s while I expect 2xxMB/s
