"More or less" a drop-in replacement. There are some situations where it isn't simply a drop-in, and unfortunately this is one of them. The CM4/CM5 transition document I am currently working on will highlight areas of difference.This breaks compatibility with the ClockworkPi mainboard. I thought the CM5 was supposed to be more or less a drop-in replacement for the CM4? There's no way to put audio over GPIO 12/13 anymore at all?
This is, AIUI, a SW problem; at the moment we do not have the drivers to drive the audio via the RP1. I do not know if that work is scheduled.
