Hey I made this 10 years ago!I tried to find a picture with a raspberry pi with l289 and motors. Didn’t see that it was actually an arduino pictured until you pointed it out. I can see how that’s confusing

- Check for ground loop. The GND needs to be the same on all power. Be sure that all ground are connected together!
- Motors creates high frequency spike. Use ferrite on the wires which go to each motor.
- Is your wire gauge big enough! Maybe the wire are too small?
- Post a picture or a schematic.
- Could you provide the code. The arduino and the Pi.
- What is you Raspberry Pi model? A Pi5 will take way more power than a PizeroW.
